Be patient.

I wanted ensure that my first batch is a success, so I wanted to do everything right.

Well I can forget about that, I transferred from the fermentation bucket to pressure barrel to early and didn’t pay attention when I added sugar so doubled my sugar in the barrel.

I also didn’t make sure that I have sealed the barrel properly. So for the first two morning I woke up to a beer flooded kitchen floor.

Today I used a pipe wrench to tighten the barrel tap, now we will see if we have more leakage tonight.

My advice for anyone and myself who are new to micro brewing.

Even though you want your beer to be ready as quickly as possible, rushing it and not paying attention could ruin it.

So have patience and let the beer do the work.
