Collab short for …
collab”oration” became the vehicle through which I deliver a range of services. As my skills, knowledge and interest change so has the service I deliver. At the start services consisted mostly of web design and development, graphic design for print and web, now it includes a few more. My relationship with industry professionals gives me the opportunity to consult develop and manage more projects, instead of being the creative designer.
Recently I have added services that include organisational development, management, resource mapping, staff development and training. Below are the services in a bit more detail.
Organisational Development
Audio Training
Aim – The aim of this training course is to teach you how to create a podcast by participating in workshop activities. These activities are designed to teach you how to produce a podcast from scratch. You will also learn how to use recording equipment and editing tools to produce a basic podcast.
Video Training
Aim – The aim of this training course is to teach you how to create a video for the web or vodcast. Through hands-on workshop activities you will learn the tools and technology needed to produce a video. You will also learn some of the software required to edit and distribute video. You will also learn how to use social media to distribute and promote your video.
Photos & Images for web Training
Aim – The aim of this training course is to teach you how to manage, edit, create and publish photos and images for the web. You will achieve this by participating in hands-on workshop activities. This course has been designed to teach you the basic principals of using photos and graphics online, to help your organisation take advantage of the impact visual elements has to enhance communication. With practical activities and exercises you will also learn about software you need for capturing editing and distributing your photos or images.
Social Media Training
Aim – This training course aims to give participants practical advice on how to use social media to engage their audience. You will learn how to create and managing a blog. You will also learn how to use other tools like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Flickr to name a few. You will learn the benefits and risks of engaging your audience in this two way conversation. You will also discover how to monitor and evaluate social media and the impact that it has and other influencers online.
